Shelly Alcorn, CAE
Alcorn Associates Management Consulting

Shelly began her career in change management at the age of 5 when she was enrolled at what was to be the first of the eleven schools she would attend prior to graduating from high school.  Being the perpetual “New Kid” forced her to quickly and strategically assess new environments, orient herself to new curriculum, policy and rules and figure out the political nuances involved in navigating recess.

Shelly kept up the fast pace by holding various positions in different associations and then serving as executive director for two different associations.  She is now a consultant at Alcorn Associates Management Consulting and is fascinated with the intersection between technology, the education to employment system and the association of the future.  She develops future-focused retreats and speaks on topics meant to provoke and engage discussion on what it means to be a human in an increasingly machine-driven world.

Originally from the Philadelphia area, he lives with his two children in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he likes to write, run, and travel. Do not get him started talking about minor league baseball logos.

Don Cooper
The Sales Heretic

Don’s last real job was with a Washington, D.C. delivery company that, under his leadership, grew by an average of 38% a year.  However, knowing a lot about a subject doesn’t make a person a great speaker. Don also brings a performer’s background to his presentations. He has acted on stage and film, appeared in the Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey Circus, and even performed at the legendary comedy club, The Improv. This experience contributes to his command of the platform and his ability to keep audiences entertained and involved for hours at a time. By combining his sales expertise and performance skills with intensive research, Don delivers programs that are association and industry specific.
