Conference Speakers

Todd Anderson, Shepherds Staff Consulting

Todd Anderson is Principal and Founder of Shepherds Staff Consulting. He works with leaders and organizations to help them become the best versions of themselves based on their vision, mission, passion, and strengths. He also serves as President of the Colorado Springs Home Builders Association. He is a father of four, including triplets. In addition, he has been a home builder for 35 years.

Alex Clark, American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers

Alex Clark is the Director of Membership, Marketing and Communications with the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. His diverse 10+ year career in marketing and communications has included stops with the large membership-based organization USA Hockey, a small Arena Football League team, and a for-profit travel nurse staffing agency as its head of digital marketing. The Colgate University graduate received his MBA from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and currently resides in Highlands Ranch, CO., with his wife and five children.​

Joanna Fetherolf, International Erosion Control Association

Joanna Fetherolf is the Director of Education & Events with the International Erosion Control Association. Her responsibilities include IECA’s large Annual Conference, regional conferences, one day events, and online education programming. An experienced professional with a passion for building impactful events through programming, collaboration and connection, Joanna will share her experience working with a variety of stakeholders to create successful education and event opportunities.

Matt Hemmendinger. American Water Works Association

Matt Hemmendinger is the Membership Manager of the American Water Works Association. He previously served the organization as Membership Specialist. His expertise includes membership development, recruitment, and retention, member benefit development, digital marketing, social media, and project management. He serves on the CSAE Membership Committee.

Sheri Jacobs, FASAE, CAE, Avenue M Group

As the founder of Avenue M Group, Sheri is a leader, innovator and visionary has helped more than 100 associations tackle their most challenging issues. Sheri served in staff leadership roles at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Bar Association and the Association Forum of Chicagoland. She is the author of The Art of Membership and Pivot Point: Reshaping Your Business When It Matters Most. Sheri has served on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Association Executives for ASAE, the ASAE Foundation, chair of the ASAE Membership Council and a member of the Marketing Council and Professional Development Committee.  In 2014, she was selected as an ASAE Fellow.

Eric Sprinkle, Adventure Experience

Eric is an avid adventurer – summiting active volcanoes in New Zealand, swimming with sea turtles in Guam, and kayaking among glaciers in Alaska. He has a passion for drawing disengaged men and women back into a life that’s challenging, exhilarating, and eye-opening. He is also the Founder of “Adventure Experience” and travels the U.S. speaking on risk-taking and the joy of living ‘a slightly more dangerous lifestyle’.








CSAE conference qualifies for CAE certification or re-certification credits.

Consent to Use of Photographic Images and Name Registration and attendance at, or participation in, CSAE meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to CSAE’s use and distribution of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities and to include registrant name on event registration lists. Cancellation Policy All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by May 20, 2020. A refund of the registrant conference fee, minus a $75 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for requests emailed or postmarked on or after May 20, 2020. Submit all requests to CSAE via email to jt@csae.org. CSAE regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. Substitutions are gladly accepted! Substitutions of registrations are permitted prior to the conference and onsite. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are strictly prohibited.
