Golf at The Club at Crested Butte (Available throughout the Conference)

Experience a mountain golf like none other. The Robert Trent Jones II championship course boasts breathtaking mountain views at every turn and quality service to ensure your time is unforgettable. Tee times are available after 12 noon for conference attendees throughout the conference. Make your tee times directly with the course at 970-349-8601. Be sure to mention you are attending the CSAE conference to get special $99 greens fees.

General Information for all Edu-tours: We recommend that participants bring water and snacks, dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, have sun protection, and consider bringing a camera and notebook. All participants will be required to sign RMBL liability forms. Edu-tours are led by experts from the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory.

Want to learn how to choose the right fly? Get tips from a fishing expert. You will learn what species of insects fish are eating right now, how to identify emerging adults, drifting nymphs, spent egg-laying adults, and estimate the timing of future hatches. We will match live insects with imitations in your fly box.

Bird identification is among the purest challenges of identification in nature. Birds not only move quickly, but frantically and without consideration for the viewing pleasure of the bipedal primate below. Birders must learn several tricks of the trade to successfully accumulate enough evidence for confident identification. In this tour, you will be introduced to these tricks and will apply them to some of the high elevation birds that breed in this region.

All registration cancellations and refund requests for the Edu-tours must be made in writing by June 9, 2017. Submit all requests to CSAE via email to jt@csae.org. CSAE regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. Substitutions are gladly accepted! Substitutions of registrations are permitted prior to the conference and onsite.
